Silenced Bells and Whistles is a wall poem of a single word. This wall made of ceramic tiles, simoultaneously harbours two words that represents the “states” that are both expected from and disdained when it comes to woman. In addition to the wall installation, the limited edition scarves produced within the scope of the biennial is a souvenir of the unwritten history of the issue of silence (suspus) and adornment (süspüs).
