Çanakkale and Sinop – Artist-in-Residence Programs and Biennials

The online talk titled "Çanakkale and Sinop – Artist-in-Residence Programs and Biennials" within the scope of the Daire Online series was held on 2 July.
Speakers of the program were Sinopale Founder and Curator T. Melih Görgün, Secretary-General of the European Cultural Association, Mahir Namur, Founder Director of the International Çanakkale Biennial, Seyhan Boztepe and Executive Curator Deniz Erbaş. K2 Contemporary Art Association President Ayşegül Kurtel was also one of the participants and the talk was moderated by Recep Tuna, one of the project consultants of the Daire Artist-in-Residence Program. The effects and results of the sustainable activities that have been carried out in two cities were discussed and Ayşegül Kurtel also talked about Portİzmir's experiences. Emphasis is placed on developing collective projects between similar civil society-focused approaches, motivations, and visions in these three cities.
