Weaving Workshop with Migrant Women

On the occasion of 8 March International Women's Day, a Weaving Workshop with Migrant Women was held at StudioMAHAL between 6-8 March. The workshop was organised in cooperation with the Çanakkale City Council Women's Assembly and Çanakkale Provincial Directorate of Migration Management and was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özge Usluca Erimdi from Mersin University FAF.
In the workshop, migrant women received theoretical and practical information on basic weaving techniques and reflected motifs from their own cultures on their weavings.
