Bringing together artists living and working in Bozcaada (Tenedos) with artists from Troy, the exhibition "With the Wind by Which It has Gone" aims to add contemporary and artistic layers and new perspectives to the ancient relationship between Troy and Bozcaada. The unique atmosphere of the Troy Museum hosts this new dialogue between artists from Çanakkale and artists who see Bozcaada as a rich source of inspiration with its historical, natural values and culture of life, and who nourish their lives and productions with the poetic, conceptual and aesthetic elements of this rich source. Bringing together the original productions of artists working with different mediums such as painting, glass, ceramics, installation and photography, the "With the Wind by Which It has Gone" Exhibition curated by Seyhan Boztepe can be seen at the Troy Museum 111th Year Exhibition Hall between 25 April - 25 May.
"Bozcaada, or Tenedos as it is called in Homeric epics, is the small but indispensable locus of the mythological Mediterranean geography woven with the stories of the Trojan War. Without it, it is not possible to fully comprehend the universal cultural heritage and literature based on the Homeric epics." Prof. Dr. Rüstem Aslan
