Born in 1977, in Istanbul. Lives and works in Çanakkale.
Ali Can Metin, an academician and artist working in the field of graphic arts, in his graphic work designed for the 7th Çanakkale Biennial and created with visual elements he compiled from Çanakkale, is in search of a visuality that engulfs and dialogue with the viewer. "Traces from the Street" uses street scripts together with images such as the Trojan Horse, sardines or tomatoes that have become stereotypical and identified with the city, and tries to bring the alternative language of the street into dialogue with the language that dominates the public space and visual culture of Çanakkale.
